Trilogy

The trilogy ring carries three stones, traditionally read as past, present and future. It is the design people reach for when a single stone feels too plain and a cluster feels too busy, and it has the practical advantage of showing more spread across the finger than a solitaire of the same total weight.This collection includes Alexandia, Charlotte, Evelyn, Fulham, Havana, Kasama, Kimberley, Modena, Savannah, Sophia and Vienna. Between them they cover the two approaches to the design. Some carry three stones of equal size for symmetry, others set a larger centre stone flanked by smaller shoulders, which draws the eye to the middle and generally photographs better.Trilogy settings also suit mixed stones particularly well. A diamond centre with sapphire or emerald shoulders is a combination we are asked for often, and it is one of the easiest ways to make an engagement ring personal without moving to a full bespoke commission.The design demands accuracy at the bench. Three stones must sit level with each other and the shoulders must match, or the eye catches it immediately.
